Krafft's findings for musicians. Left, at the births of 2567musicians born since 1820 data from Humber Riemann's Dictionnaire deMusique, Paris 1913 Krafft observed that the aspects between the Moonand Uranus were least frequent around the conjunction at 9 o'clock andconcluded that this was an unlucky aspect not favourable for musicalsuccess p. 27. These 115 unlucky cases were distributed around theecliptic as shown centre orb 10 degrees and right orb 5 degrees, with many signs empty. Krafft concluded that the ecliptic "is nothomogenous but has zones with specific effects" pp. 40 41. Krafft'sbook has more than 70 figures like these, clearly the result of aconsiderable labour, and at first sight their effect seems overwhelming. Without Gauquelin's expert scrutiny the unwary reader might easily bepersuaded to draw incorrect conclusions. Gauquelin comments "It seems quite incredible that he could have madesuch a ridiculous error. However, such errors occur on almost every pageof Krafft's book is a kind of statistical anti methodology should be given to students of probability calculations to putthem on their guard" Astrology and Science 1970:135. The claims disconfirmed by Gauquelin ranged from simple ones like zodiacsigns vs personality to more complex ones like planetary aspects betweenfamily members and transits at death.

Successful platforms are often the ultimate substitute threat to an industry. The final important factor for platforms to take advantage of strategically are the positive spillover effects that emerge from a platform ecosystem. Positive spillover effects in platform ecosystems exist mainly in the form of user data. It is important that platform bulginesses capture as much of this data as possible, as it can be used to improve the core user interactions by generating more helpful matchmaking recommendations and pricing policies. The usefulness of a data set increases with its size. Platform businesses should therefore be worried about increasing the size of its ecosystem and volume of its its facilitated interactions. Standard metrics to measure a businesss success do not necessarily apply to platforms, as expansion and size are more valuable to platforms due to network effects. Sadly network effects also work in reverse. If a platform is managed poorly, and negative instead of positive feedback loops emerge, network effects can reduce the value of a platform rapidly. This includes Trumps request to then Attorney General Jeff Sessions toas the Mueller report describesreverse his recusal so that Sessions could direct the Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute Hillary Clinton. There is a substantial evidentiary record concerning this type of misconduct: Mueller cites directly to testimony given by Sessions to the special counsels office, and there is a lengthy record as well of public statements by the presidentalso included in the Mueller reportexpressing dissatisfaction with the Justice Department for its failure to investigate Clinton. Trumps 2016 opponent is far from the only person he has targeted in this fashion. He has repeatedly and publicly accused FBI Director James Comey of crimes and has asked why the Justice Department has not investigated and prosecuted Comey. And he has done the same for former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, along withamong othersJustice Department official Bruce Ohr, Ohrs wife, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Clinton campaign manager John Podesta. And as Mueller notes in the report, Trump also appeared to threaten prosecution of Michael Cohens wife and father in law after Cohen began cooperating with the Mueller investigationthreats that Mueller understood as potentially an effort to retaliate against Cohen and chill further testimony adverse to the President . Finally, and most recently, there are the efforts by the president and his personal lawyer, Rudy Giulianiboth reported on in the press and acknowledged publicly by both Trump and Giulianito push not the United States government, but the government of Ukraine, to investigate Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter. This conduct, too, has a parallel to the Nixon impeachment articles. The famous second article of impeachment adopted by the House Judiciary Committee accused Nixon of repeatedly engag in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, in part by seeking to initiate IRS and FBI investigations against his political opponents. This activity, the article states, was in violation of duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed. The third broad area Congress should focus on is the abuse of the presidents foreign policy authorities and misuse of congressionally appropriated money to induce a foreign head of state to violate the civil liberties of U.
